Jawakara Islands Maldives takes immense pride in introducing Maurice Van Den Bosch, a seasoned veteran in the hospitality industry, who will steer the helm as General Manager when our magnificent resort opens its doors in October 2023.

With an impressive track record spanning more than two decades, Maurice Van Den Bosch has not only managed but excelled in luxury resort properties across some of the world’s most iconic tourist destinations, including Australia, New Zealand, and of course, the Maldives.

Maurice embarked on his journey in the Maldives’ tourism sector in 2017, initially as the Resort Manager at OZEN LIFE MAADHOO. His unwavering dedication and expertise soon catapulted him into the role of General Manager at Atmosphere Kanifushi, eventually leading to his prestigious position as Vice President of Operations for Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts at the group level. Maurice also played a pivotal role in the pre-opening of Le Meridien Maldives, leaving an indelible mark on enhancing services and elevating the guest experience at Coco Bodu Hithi.

At our sister resort, Kuredu Island Resort & Spa, where Maurice Van Den Bosch held the position of General Manager, his exceptional work ethic and masterful management skills earned the property a slew of Traveler’s Choice Awards—a testament to his commitment to excellence.
