Jawakara Celebrates First Anniversary!

Happy birthday to us – we are celebrating our 1st anniversary! When we first opened Jawakara Islands Maldives’ doors a year ago, we had no idea of what an amazing year lay ahead. Over the last 12 months, thousands of guests have enjoyed their dream holiday in paradise with us. We’ve received more than 850 5-star reviews on Tripadvisor, been named Best Beach Villa Resort at the TTM Awards and the Jawa Kids Club has been recognised as ‘Worldwide Kids Accredited’ – fantastic accolades for the first year.

One of our proudest achievements over the last year is how many comments we’ve received praising the team, and the excellent service they provide, along with the quality of the food and accommodation offered by the resort. The divers and snorkelers have had a great time exploring this part of the atoll, with incredible sightings of manta rays, sharks, turtles and even orcas among the year’s highlights.

We would like to thank everyone who has visited us over the last 12 months and who have helped make Jawakara’s 1st year so special. To celebrate our birthday, we enjoyed a sunset cocktail party, a special anniversary dinner and then danced the night away with a DJ set on the beach!
